Brandon Marsh not in lineup for Phillies' NLDS game Monday
The Philadelphia Phillies did not list Brandon Marsh in their lineup for Monday's game against the Atlanta Braves.
Marsh started in Game 1 of the Phillies NLDS matchup with the Braves, but will cede left field to Cristian Pache in Game 2 while Pache bats eighth against his former team. Marsh drew a walk and stole a base in Game 1, but also struck out twice in four plate appearances.
Marsh made 472 plate appearances for the Phillies this year, batting .277 with a .829 OPS along the way. The 25-year-old put up 12 homers with 58 runs, 60 RBI, and 10 stolen bases during the regular season as a key member of the team's outfield depth.
