Angels' Miguel Sano hitting seventh Thursday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Miguel Sano is starting at designated hitter and batting seventh against right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Baltimore Orioles.
What It Means:
The Angels selected Sano's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday. The 30-year-old veteran joined the Angels this past winter after sitting out the 2023 season. Anthony Rendon will bat leadoff and Aaron Hicks will hit second. Mickey Moniak is not in the lineup.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Angels have the worst implied total (3.35) on the All Day slate Thursday.
