Angels' Huston Street diagnosed with lat strain
Los Angeles Angels general manager Billy Eppler said Saturday that pitcher Huston Street was diagnosed with a Grade one lat strain.
Street is going to be shut down for the next 3-4 weeks before he is re-evaluated. It seems likely that he won't be ready for Opening Day, so that could allow Cam Bedrosian or Andrew Bailey to start the year closing games.
Our models project Street for a 4.19 ERA and 1.43 WHIP with 46 strikeouts and 15 saves in 2017.
