Shelby Miller (elbow) placed on Arizona's disabled list
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Shelby Miller has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation.
Inflammation isn't as problematic as tightness, which is what the Diamondbacks previously described Miller's injury as. Archie Bradley is the favorite to fill the void in Arizona's rotation.
Miller owns a 2-2 record with a 4.09 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 20.2 strikeout percentage in 22 innings pitched this season.
