Braves' Jim Johnson notches another save on Monday

Atlanta Braves closer Jim Johnson notched his ninth save of the season on Monday as the Braves scored a 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

What It Means:

There was a bit of a hiccup when Johnson hit Adam Frazier with a pitch, but when all was said and done he made it through the inning facing only four batters, not allowing any hits or walks to earn his third straight save.

Johnson has kicked off the season with a 2.84 ERA, 2.42 SIERA, 26.0 percent strikeout rate, 4.1 percent walk rate and 0.84 WHIP through 19 games (19 innings pitched).
