Rays starting Trevor Plouffe on Sunday
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Trevor Plouffe is batting sixth and playing designated hitter on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Plouffe is simply a reserve corner infielder for the Rays, who acquired the slumping former Oakland Athletics starter a week ago. The Rays are working him into the rotations, however, and he takes over at DH on Sunday. Corey Dickerson returns to left field and Shane Peterson will head to the bench.
Our models project Plouffe for 10.1 FanDuel points at a $2,200 salary on Sunday.
