Yunel Escobar (thumb) starting at third base for the Angels
Los Angeles Angels third baseman Yunel Escobar (thumb) is back in the lineup on Monday.
Escobar sat out the last two games with a thumb injury but is back handling the hot corner versus the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday. He is batting fourth versus lefty Rich Hill.
Escobar is batting .391 in 66 plate appearances versus southpaws this season but the Angels have the fourth-lowest implied run total of the night (3.67), making the third baseman a risky play.
