Padres' Luis Torrens absent from Wednesday's lineup
San Diego Padres catcher Luis Torrens is not in Wednesday's starting lineup.
Torrens started on Tuesday to spell typical backstop Austin Hedges. He'll return to the bench on Wednesday, however.
Playing in the cavernous Petco Park (0.839 park factor), it's not an exciting day for any Padres hitter. Atlanta Braves starter Bartolo Colon does make this slightly interesting, though; he has the fourth-lowest strikeout rate and the 11th-lowest ground-to-fly ball ratio among starters today. There will be plenty of pitches to hit, since he has the sixth-lowest walk rate among these players to boot.
