Marco Estrada staying in Blue Jays' rotation
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada will remain in the team's starting rotation.
There's "no chance" the right-hander will be removed from the rotation, according to pitching coach Pete Walker. Based on past performance, the team expects the struggling Estrada to bounce back.
Since June 1st, Estrada is 0-4 with a 6.14 FIP in 8 starts. Going forward, our algorithms like him to finish the remainder of the year with a 4-5 record and 37 earned runs across 75 2/3 innings.
