Taijuan Walker (personal) scratched from start Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Taijuan Walker was scratched from Thursday's scheduled start against the Cincinnati Reds and subsequently placed on the paternity leave list.
Walker is tending to the birth of his child, so left-hander Patrick Corbin will draw the start instead on Thursday afternoon. Look for Walker to return to the Diamondbacks' rotation sometime this weekend.
Walker owns a 3.61 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 19.9 strikeout percentage across 87 1/3 innings this season. He's 6-4 in 15 starts.
