Ramon Flores called up to start Tuesday for Angels
The Los Angeles Angels have recalled outfielder Ramon Flores, who will start Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
With Kole Calhoun out with what could prove to be a problematic hamstring injury, the Angels called up Flores to help with outfield depth until his return. As he takes the roster spot vacated by reliever David Hernandez, he bats eighth against Philadelphia's Aaron Nola tonight.
Flores has hit .311/.405/.417 with 5 home runs and 55 RBI at Triple-A Salt Lake this season. He isn't on tonight's slate, but his team is implied at 4.26 runs in this evening's matchup.
