Jake Lamb batting seventh for Diamondbacks on Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb is batting seventh on Thursday versus the Chicago Cubs.
What It Means:
Lamb is at the hot corner again for Arizona, but he'll move down a few spots to the seven-hole against left-hander Jose Quintana and the Diamondbacks. The 26-year-old third baseman is batting just .140 versus southpaws this season, compared to .305 opposite right-handers. A.J. Pollock will also move down a spot to third in the order.
numberFire's models project Lamb to score 10.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,700 on Thursday afternoon, but the Diamondbacks are limited on upside with a poor implied total (4.06 runs) against Quintana, who owns a 26.0 strikeout percentage this season.
