X-rays negative on Indians' Jose Ramirez (forearm)
Cleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez appears to have avoided serious injury, as X-rays on his forearm came back negative on Thursday.
After being hit with a 93 mile-per-hour fastball, Ramirez appears to be okay and could be available tonight, according to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian. While that's true, it's likely that Ramirez gets the night off with Giovanny Urshela getting the start at third against the Minnesota Twins.
numberFire's algorithms have Ramirez down for 5 home runs, 22 RBI and a .316 average over 175 plate appearances the remainder of the year.
