Matt Adams starting as Braves take on Reds

Atlanta Braves first baseman/outfielder Matt Adams is starting on Friday against the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Adams will start in left field and bat sixth versus Reds right-hander Sal Romano. It's his first start since Saturday, but he did hit a two-run double off the Braves' bench on Thursday. Danny Santana was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left quad strain while Freddie Freeman will be on first base again for Atlanta.

Romano is walking 11.0 percent of batters he faces this season, so the Braves could be a lineup to target on Friday. They have an implied total of 4.86 runs. numberFire's models project Adams to score 10.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,700.
