Ryan Zimmerman (soreness) out again for Nationals on Sunday
Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is being held out this weekend due to general soreness.
The Nationals are simply erring on the side of caution as they gear up for the playoffs. Howie Kendrick will draw the start at first base on Sunday after Adam Lind took care of things there on Saturday for Washington. Look for Zimmerman to return for Monday's series finale with the Philadelphia Phillies.
numberFire's models project Zimmerman to record a .276 batting average with 5 RBI and 4 runs scored in 33 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
