Braves' Nick Markakis excused for personal matter
Atlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis was excused from the team on Tuesday to address a personal matter.
Markakis was absent from Wednesday's game, so that must be the reason why. Braves manager Brian Snitker said that it's "just a personal thing" and that he hopes Markakis will be back this weekend. Until he returns, Lane Adams should start in right, as he did on Wednesday.
Our models project Markakis for 5 hits, 2 RBI and 2 runs for the rest of the 2017 season.
