Yankees' Sonny Gray starting Game 1 of ALDS
New York Yankees pitcher Sonny Gray will be the team's starter for Thursday's Game 1 against the Cleveland Indians.
According to the Yankees' PR department, Gray will get the ball to start the series and will be followed by CC Sabathia in Game 2 in Cleveland. Masahiro Tanaka will likely start Game 3 as Luis Severino figures to get the ball in Game 4, if the series goes that far.
In 11 starts since coming over to the Yankees, Gray has gone 4-7 with a 4.87 FIP and 6 quality starts. He's 2-4 with a 3.81 FIP and 2.21 ERA in 6 road starts as a Yankee.
