Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is in the starting lineup for Thursday's Game 1 matchup with the Houston Astros.
Facing starter Justin Verlander, Pedroia will hit from the six-hole in Houston on Thursday. And, as he returns, Brock Holt will return to a bench role as Pedroia's primary backup.
