Max Scherzer is available out of Nationals' bullpen in Game 4
Washington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer will be available out of the bullpen in Wednesday's postponed NLDS Game 4 versus the Chicago Cubs.
Because of the extra day off due to Tuesday's postponement, Scherzer is available for an inning of relief work if needed. Tanner Roark will start this one with Stephen Strasburg being pushed back to a potential Game 5. It's all hands on deck for the Nationals as they face elimination on Wednesday in Chicago.
