Red Sox' Hanley Ramirez undergoes arthroscopy and debridement on left shoulder
Boston Red Sox first baseman/left fielder Hanley Ramirez underwent successful surgery to his left shoulder on Tuesday, reports WEEI's Rob Bradford.
Ramirez has been battling issues with his non-throwing shoulder for some time. But that problem should now be corrected, with Ramirez expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2018 opener.
At 33 years old, Ramirez posted the worst nERD (-0.23) of his career while slashing just .242/.320/.429 with 23 home runs this season.
