Mariners' Ryon Healy down 4-6 weeks following hand surgery
Seattle Mariners infielder Ryon Healy is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery Thursday to remove a bone spur from his right hand.
It's possible that Healy returns for the tail end of spring training but he's likely going to open the season on the Mariners' disabled list. The 26-year-old was acquired from the Oakland Athletics in November.
Healy slashed .271/.302/.451 with 25 home runs, 66 runs scored, and 78 RBI across 605 plate appearances last season.
