Twins finalize one-year deal with Lance Lynn

The Minnesota Twins have announced the signing of starting pitcher Lance Lynn to a one-year, $12 million contract.

What It Means:

Lynn will have a lot to prove in 2018 if he hopes to cash in on a long term contract next season. He should pitch out of the back half of Minnesota's rotation behind Jake Odorizzi, Jose Berrios and Ervin Santana.

In his 6 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, Lynn has turned in at least 11 wins in the last 5 while posting a 3.38 ERA in 161 starts.
