Corey Seager (elbow) will play shortstop for Dodgers on Friday
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (elbow) is expected to play the field for the first time in Friday's Cactus League game.
Seager dealt with an elbow issue towards the end of last season, so the Dodgers decided to err on the side of caution and, up until now, have limited the 23-year-old shortstop to DH duties in the spring. There's no concern about his status for Opening Day.
numberFire's models project Seager to bat .290 with 20 home runs, 92 RBI, 91 runs scored, and 4 steals in 625 plate appearances this season.
