Julio Teheran named Braves' Opening Day starter
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran has been named the Opening Day starter versus the Philadelphia Phillies.
Teheran struggled overall in 2017, but he was the obvious choice for Opening Day starter for the Braves. He will be matched against Phillies' right-hander Aaron Nola on March 29.
Our models project Teheran for 4.38 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 2018, with 139 strikeouts over 185.1 innings pitched.
