White Sox send Michael Kopech back down to minors
Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech was reassigned to minor league camp on Tuesday.
Kopech is considered one of the best pitching prospects in baseball but he'll head back down to the minors to work on some things after struggling in Cactus League play. The 21-year-old right-hander will likely factor into the fantasy equation over the second half of the year.
Kopech recorded a 2.88 ERA and 31.3 strikeout percentage across 134 1/3 innings last season between Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte.
