Aaron Hicks will bat fifth for Yankees on Opening Day
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks will bat fifth for the Yankees on Opening Day against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Greg Bird was pegged as the fifth man in the Yankees' lineup but he's out 6-8 weeks after undergoing ankle surgery, so Hicks will fill the void. He set career-highs all over last season, with a .266 batting average and .847 OPS, in addition to 15 home runs, 52 RBI, and 54 runs scored. All of those represent new career-highs. The 28-year-old outfielder also stole 10 bases.
numberFire's models project Hicks to score 9.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,300 on Thursday.
