First game of Yankees-Tigers doubleheader postponed on Sunday
The first game of Sunday's doubleheader between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers has been postponed.
Game 2 remains scheduled for 7:10 PM ET but that might not be played either. Saturday's game was also called. Luis Severino was expected to toe the rubber for the Yankees against Francisco Liriano and the Tigers this afternoon.
The Yankees are 11th in numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings while the Tigers check in at 22nd.
