Anthony Rendon (toe) still out for Nationals on Monday
Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon (toe) is not in Monday's lineup against the New York Mets.
Rendon fouled a ball off his left big toe on Friday that led to an early exit and he hasn't played since. As of now, the 27-year-old won't need a disabled list stint. Wilmer Difo will draw another start at the hot corner in today's series opener.
Rendon is averaging 8.4 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .273 with 20 homers, 81 RBI, 79 runs scored, and 9 steals in 558 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
