Anthony Rendon (toe) placed on Nationals' 10-day disabled list
Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon was placed on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to April 19, with a left toe injury.
Rendon fouled a ball off his toe in a game back on April 13 and hasn't played since. The Nationals tried to take it day-to-day but the 27-year-old hasn't recovered as fast as the club hoped. Wilmer Difo has been handling things at the hot corner for Washington.
Rendon is averaging 8.4 FanDuel points per game this season. Prior to this move, numberFire's models projected him to bat .273 with 20 homers, 81 RBI, 79 runs scored, and 9 steals in 558 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
