Byron Buxton (migraines) expected to return for Twins on Wednesday
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (migraines) is on track to be activated from the disabled list on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Buxton didn't experience any issues during his first rehab game with High-A Fort Myers on Sunday. Assuming it's more of the same on Monday and Tuesday, the 24-year-old outfielder should be back in action for Wednesday's matchup with the New York Yankees. Max Kepler has been covering center field with Robbie Grossman in right since Buxton went down on April 12.
Buxton is averaging 6.7 FanDuel points per game this season. Moving forward, numberFire's models project him to bat .260 with 20 home runs, 64 RBI, 81 runs scored, and 26 steals in 558 more plate appearances.
