Eric Lauer called up by Padres for major league debut on Tuesday
San Diego Padres pitcher Eric Lauer was called up from Triple-A El Paso and will make his major league debut on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies.
Lauer was the 25th overall pick of the 2016 MLB Draft and will be making his big league debut tonight in Colorado. He spun a 3.04 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 188 strikeouts across 171 2/3 innings in the minors.
