Christian Villanueva (hamstring) still out for San Diego on Tuesday
San Diego Padres third baseman Christian Villanueva (hamstring) remains out of the lineup on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies.
This will be a second straight absence for Villanueva, who was also scratched from Monday's series opener. Cory Spangenberg is starting again at third base and batting seventh versus Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland for Tuesday's matchup.
Villanueva is averaging 14.6 FanDuel points per game this season. Assuming the injury doesn't lead to an extended absence, numberFire's models project him to bat .251 with 14 homers, 46 RBI, and 38 runs scored in 366 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
