Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez struck out eight batters with a no-decision in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the San Diego Padres.
Gonzalez went six strong innings, allowing five hits and one earned run in the road start. On a negative note, he walked three Padres before exiting. The lefty has allowed just two earned runs with 21 strikeouts through his last three starts.
