Arizona's Chris Owings out of Thursday's lineup against Nats
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder/shortstop Chris Owings is not in the lineup for Thursday's home matchup against the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Owings went a dreadful 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts in last night's start in the leadoff spot. Needless to say, without a lefty on the mound it will David Peralta hitting leadoff and manning left field tonight.
Our models project Owings to bat .260 with 10 homers and 40 RBI over the rest of the 2018 campaign.
