Twins option Ryan LaMarre to Triple-A Rochester
The Minnesota Twins have optioned outfielder Ryan LaMarre to Triple-A Rochester, reports Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com.
LaMarre was brought up for depth in the outfield as Byron Buxton (toe) worked his way from the disabled list. With Buxton now active, he's not needed at this time, so the 29-year-old will head to the minors.
Over 38 plate appearances, LaMarre is batting .324 with a .395 on-base percentage and 3 RBI.
