George Springer (elbow) not in Saturday's lineup for Houston
According to The Athletic's Jake Kaplan, Houston Astros outfielder George Springer is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Springer was hit with a Cole Hamels pitch on Friday night and was lifted with an elbow contusion. He's considered day-to-day and could return to the field as early as tomorrow. Jose Altuve will leadoff with Derek Fisher in center field in his place.
Our models project Springer to hit .282 with 26 home runs and 78 RBI over the rest of the season.
