Twins' Ervin Santana (finger) to throw BP on Monday
Minnesota Twins pitcher Ervin Santana (finger) is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Monday and Thursday as he works his way back to pitching in games.
Following the two BP sessions, Santana is scheduled to make a start in extended spring training on May 21 then a rehab start on May 26. If all goes well, the starting pitcher will be back in the big leagues sometime in early-June. Santana has been out all season so far after undergoing surgery on the middle finger on his right hand in February
Our models project Santana for a 4.47 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 116 strikeouts in 145 innings pitched the rest of the season.
