A.J. Pollock exits Diamondbacks' Monday game with sprained thumb

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock was pulled from Monday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers with a sprained left thumb.

What It Means:

Pollock hurt his thumb trying to dive for a line drive in the outfield that ended up going for an inside the park home run. Pollock will likely undergo an x-ray and MRI with a hand specialist on Tuesday, so we should know more soon on the severity of the injury.

Pollock is averaging 14.1 FanDuel points per game this season.
