Nelson Cruz (foot) expected to miss a couple games for Mariners
Seattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz is expected to miss a couple of games due to a deep bone bruise in his right foot.
Cruz made an early exit from Tuesday's extra-innings victory after getting hit by a pitch in his right foot in the bottom of the fourth inning. X-rays fortunately came back negative but the Mariners are going to give the veteran some time to rest.
Cruz is averaging 9.9 FanDuel points in 32 games this season while slashing .240/.324/.463 with 7 home runs and 18 RBI across 136 plate appearances.
