Indians' Erik Gonzalez replaces Edwin Encarnacion (back spasms) in Wednesday's lineup
Cleveland Indians infielder Erik Gonzalez is starting on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers.
Edwin Encarnacion was scratched from Wednesday's series finale due to back spasms, so Gonzalez will draw another start for Cleveland. He will man the hot corner and bat seventh versus Tigers left-hander Ryan Carpenter while Jose Ramirez plays designated hitter.
Gonzalez scored 18.7 FanDuel points in Tuesday's start but he's averaging 5.2 FanDuel points per game for the season.
