Reds' Brandon Dixon draws first big league start on Thursday
Cincinnati Reds infielder/outfielder Brandon Dixon is starting against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday afternoon.
Dixon has made a couple appearances off the bench since being called up from Triple-A Louisville but this will be the 26-year-old's first career start in the big leagues as he covers first base and bats seventh versus Pirates right-hander Ivan Nova in Thursday's series finale. Joey Votto will be available to pinch-hit for the Reds.
numberFire's models project Dixon to score 9.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,000 on Thursday.
