White Sox' Matt Davidson (back) to sit out second straight game
Chicago White Sox third baseman Matt Davidson will remain out for Thursday's series finale against the Baltimore Orioles.
Davidson was scratched from last night's lineup after experiencing stiffness in his back. The team will play it cautious with the 27-year-old, deploying Jose Rondon at DH for a second straight game.
Davidson is slashing .243/.368/.521 with 11 home runs and 28 RBI through 42 games. Our models project him to hit .235 with 18 home runs over the rest of the 2018 season.
