Astros hopeful Josh Reddick (leg) will only require minimum on DL
Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said he's hopeful outfielder Josh Reddick will only miss the minimum amount of time with his leg infection.
Reddick was placed on the disabled list Wednesday, retroactive to May 21. He is set to return next Thursday so long as everything is healing properly. For now, he's been replaced by Jake Marisnick, who will get some reps in the Houston outfield until his return.
Reddick has 9 home runs, a .227 average and .740 OPS through 42 games. He's projected for 9 home runs and a .281 average the rest of the season.
