White Sox transfer Miguel Gonzalez (shoulder) to 60-day DL
The Chicago White Sox have transferred pitcher Miguel Gonzalez from the 10-day disabled list to the team's 60-day DL.
The club placed the starter on the 10-day DL on April 23, but he has since suffered a setback that required him to have a PRP injection in his right throwing shoulder. The move allows the team to pick up catcher Dustin Garneau off waivers. Garneau will see some starts with Welington Castillo suspended.
Our models project Gonzalez for 24.9 innings, a 1-2 record and 5.78 ERA over the rest of the season.
