Cubs to place Yu Darvish (triceps) on 10-day DL
MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports the Chicago Cubs are set to place pitcher Yu Darvish on the team's 10-day disabled list.
Darvish has been struggling all season but more so of late. He has been diagnosed with right triceps tightness and seems on track to sit a few starts. Tyler Chatwood will make his next scheduled start on Sunday.
Over 8 starts, Darvish is just 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA and 4.14 xFIP. He's also walking a career-high 4.73 batters per 9 innings.
