Dustin Pedroia (knee) a late scratch for Red Sox on Thursday
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is not playing against the Houston Astros on Thursday.
What It Means:
Pedroia was set to start, but he was a late scratch due to knee soreness and is being replaced in the lineup by Blake Swihart. Brock Holt will play second base.
We project Pedroia to hit .262 in his remaining games this season.
