Rangers' Keone Kela pitches perfect inning for 13th save

Texas Rangers relief pitcher Keone Kela pitched a perfect 10th inning Saturday in a win over the Los Angeles Angels.

What It Means:

Kela's first two opponents struck out and flew out, bringing outfielder Mike Trout to the plate as the tying run. Kela won the battle, though, as Trout lined out to center fielder Delino DeShields to end the game. He's now a perfect 13-for-13 in save chances, despite a mediocre 4.22 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 21 1/3 innings pitched.

Our models project Kela to register 19 more saves this year, along with a 3.21 ERA, 31.7 percent strikeout rate, and 10.4 percent walk rate in 39 1/3 more innings pitched.
