Yoenis Cespedes (hip) suffers setback for Mets
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes left his Saturday rehab game early with right quad tightness.
Cespedes has been on the disabled list since mid-May with a right hip flexor strain, and this setback won't make his return come any sooner. His removal from Saturday's game with Binghamton seems to be mostly precautionary, but the team will have to reevaluate Cespedes as soon as possible.
In 152 plate appearances thus far, Cespedes has a .255 batting average with eight home runs and 28 RBI.
