Brewers' Zach Davies starting rehab stint Tuesday
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
This is Davies' second stint on the disabled list this season due to shoulder problems and Adam McCalvy of MLB.com says the 25-year-old right-hander will make three rehab starts before rejoining the Brewers' rotation. That could put him back in the majors by the first or second week of July.
Davies averaged 21.4 FanDuel points with a 2-5 record in eight starts before landing on the DL while recording a 5.23 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 31 strikeouts and 17 walks across 43 innings.
