Austin Romine sitting out as Yankees host Rays
New York Yankees catcher Austin Romine is not in the lineup Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Romine got the start on Saturday, going 1-for-3 at the plate with a double. He'll head to the bench Sunday with Gary Sanchez starting behind the plate and hitting fifth against right-hander Matt Andriese.
Our models project Romine for a .250 batting average with 3 home runs, 11 runs scored, and 12 RBI over 104 plate appearances remaining this season.
